Our guest blogger Vic Furman goes whimsical on Andrew Cuomo, perhaps the nation’s most corrupt governor and definitely not a man of the people.

Reading Tom’s recent articles here and here about the corruption so rampant in New York politics and especially the administration of one Andrew Cuomo, the wanna-be emperor and Governor of the Empire State, some workingman’s poetry started shaping up in my head, so I thought I might share it with you.

Andrew Cuomo’s Great Fall (We Hope) 

Beware, all Americans, for you must learn
A Governor named Andrew Cuomo, a liar is he.
Thought untouchable, though Preet may yet get his turn,
To the unions who supported him he lied, to the people as well.
Upstaters and all now say, “may Cuomo rot in hell.”

An Empire State, our New York was once called
from state line to state line we were proud to be.
Then, in 2010, Andrew Cuomo took over the Albany halls.
Many doors were closed and the crime spree we’d see
Told us New York citizens were no longer free.

Andrew Cuomo and New York Ethics Take a Great Fall?

Like Humpty Dumpty the ethics did fall.
Shattered forever through winter, spring, summer and fall.
The effects not contained to the streets of Albany,
but far reaching all the way to both you and me.
As a Governor named Andrew Cuomo, proved a liar is he.

With the Working Families Party I may not agree,
but if you forget the promise he made to you,
Then no shame on me, but shame on thee.
The man named Cuomo has eyes but for himself,
So, next time you “VOTE” put him on the shelf.

Now, some may say I grind too many axes,
but I am sure they don’t pay New York taxes.
And, I can’t understand for the life of me
How Andrew Cuomo can imagine we are so blind
That we can’t see see the NRDC power that’s behind.

Never before has a Governor ignored the people like he,
Andrew Cuomo sold out those of us north of the city,
Like a hungry piglet, he wanted to suck on the fractivist sow’s titty.
But even they don’t really count in his eyes,
He’ll drop them in a heartbeat when his desires no longer match their lies.

So, fellow Americans, let me tell you this for sure
This Governor of New York has the presidency in sight
These warnings I give you are documented and true.
Governor Cuomo is not the man for me and you
So register to vote and get this horses behind out
From every rooftop this must be the shout.
