Joe Biden Tells Fracking Lies But, Was It Then, or Is It Now?

RGGIJim Willis

Joe Biden changes policy positions like others change clothes but was he lying about fracking then or now; that’s the question before us.

Donald Trump is not lying about Joe Biden and the words Biden has used about his desire to ban fracking *and* eliminate the use of fossil fuels. We have the video (below) showing clips from various Biden events where he unequivocally states he will ban fracking, and (in time) eliminate the use of all fossil fuels. This is Joe Biden in his own words. So was Biden lying then? Or, is he lying now?

CNX Is Definitely on the Move and Ready to Make Serious Hay

RGGIJim Willis

Nick DeIuliis continues to impress as he lays out CNX plans for adroitly positioning the company’s capital by being “ruthlessly rational.”

A few months ago CNX Resources bought out and merged in the remaining amount of CNX Midstream the company didn’t already own (see CNX Resources Buying/Merging in Rest of CNX Midstream for $357M). CNX isn’t waiting until the next quarterly investor conference call to tout the synergies of that move.

DEP Is to Blame for Marsh Creek Incident; Rerouting Order Is Just Cover

RGGIJim Willis
Editor & Publisher, Marcellus Drilling News (MDN)

DEP dramatically ordered a rerouting of Mariner East after Marsh Creek but DEP earlier ordered what failed and now blames Energy Transfer.

It could have been avoided. The Pennsylvania Dept. of Environmental Protection (DEP) has no one to blame but themselves for what happened at Marsh Creek Lake in Chester County, PA, when Energy Transfer (ET), drilling underground to install a pipeline for the Mariner East 2 project, experienced a drilling mud spill in August.

Snitz Creek Sniping by StateImpactPA Is A Case of Shilling for Snobs

RGGIJim Willis
Editor & Publisher, Marcellus Drilling News (MDN)

Snitz Creek is falsely reported by StateImpactPA as the site of pollution problems related to Mariner East but it’s all a matter of shilling.

We don’t know if StateImpactPA “reporters” are just sloppy in their reporting, or if they intentionally lie. Either way, it doesn’t look good for StateImpactPA. PBS reporter Jon Hurdle’s latest Big Green hit piece, published yesterday on StateImpactPA, is wholly manufactured out of nothing. He claims there are continuing problems with drilling for the Mariner East 2 pipeline project at Snitz Creek in Lebanon County, PA. There are not.

RGGI Carbon Tax on Pennsylvanians Advanced by Wolf Sycophants

RGGIJim Willis
Editor & Publisher, Marcellus Drilling News (MDN)

Tom Wolf’s cabinet members and other green signaling sycophants insist on imposing a RGGI carbon tax on all of us and just voted it forward.

The Pennsylvania Environmental Quality Board (EQB), a powerful committee operating under the larger umbrella of the PA Dept. of Environmental Protection (DEP), held a hearing and cast a vote yesterday on whether or not PA should join the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), a tax on carbon for power generators. As we predicted earlier, EQB, which is packed with political appointees by PA Gov. Tom Wolf, voted in favor of their boss’s plan. It would have been career suicide to vote against it.

NJ Transit Efforts to Ensure Energy Supply Berated by Usual Suspects

RGGIJim Willis
Editor & Publisher, Marcellus Drilling News (MDN)

No amount of planning for the energy needs of NJ Transit earns anything but destructive harassment from the usual suspect fractivists.

Behaving like the petulant children they are, anti-fossil fuelers in New Jersey are demanding a face-to-face meeting with the board of NJ Transit so they can make a case (i.e. bully the board) against building a small, clean-burning natural gas-fired power plant NJ Transit will be used to power trains in cases of emergency. It’s a backup plant–not even running all the time. Yet antis, so corrupted by their own hatred of “fossil fuels,” are demanding NJ Transit use unreliable solar instead.

Clarks Summit Doesn’t Know Anything But Is Against LNG Anyway

RGGIJim Willis

Clarks Summit Borough’s leaders say they don’t really know if LNG trucks would go through their community but they’re against it anyway.

The anti-fossil fuel zealots at the Scranton Times-Tribune (in Lackawanna County, PA) are doing their darnedest to try and stop an $800 million LNG liquefaction plant (generating hundreds of jobs) planned for nearby Bradford County. On Monday we told you the zealots were attempting to whip up a frenzy of opposition to the plant, based on trucks that would travel through the borough of Clarks Summit, a suburb of Scranton (see New Fortress Energy LNG from NEPA to NJ Truck Route Revealed). Looks like it worked. The Times-Tribune has scared the bejesus out of Clarks Summit and the borough council has passed a resolution opposing the plant.

Joe Biden Lies About His Stance on Fracking, Or Did He Just Forget?

RGGIJim Willis
Editor & Publisher, Marcellus Drilling News (MDN)

Joe Biden got carried away arguing with Bernie. He said he’d ban new fracking. Now, his words have come back to hurt him. So, he blames Trump.

Joe Biden is not well, that much was obvious yesterday as he made a brief appearance in Pittsburgh to falsely claim he never said he would ban fracking, and to falsely claim President Trump is to blame for ongoing riots and crimes in Democrat-blue cities across the country (like Portland).

Nuclear Bailout Turns Into Ohio Nuclear Fireball for Corrupt Politicians

RGGIJim Willis
Editor & Publisher, Marcellus Drilling News (MDN)

The Ohio nuclear bailout (also being planned for Pennsylvania and New Jersey) has turned into a real disaster for corrupt politicians.

FirstEnergy Solutions (now called Energy Harbor) allegedly paid $60 million in bribes to (now former) Ohio House Speaker Larry Householder and four of his associates to gain their assistance in passing the hugely unpopular House Bill 6. HB 6, which became law, gives Energy Harbor $1.1 billion in ratepayer funds over seven years to prop up the company’s uneconomic nuclear power plants (disadvantaging other energy sources, like gas-fired power plants). Ohio’s Attorney General is asking a bankruptcy court to stop those annual $150 million payments.

Chester County District Attorney Goes Rogue Politically

RGGIJim Willis
Editor & Publisher, Marcellus Drilling News (MDN)

The Chester County DA’s office is seriously ill with politics and it’s time for pushback. We have far too many rogue DA types already!

Why is the Chester County, PA District Attorney hell-bent on persecuting (i.e. prosecuting) security guards who have done nothing more than protect nutty environmentalists from hurting themselves at Mariner East 2 pipeline construction sites? Former Chester County, PA District Attorney Tom Hogan (RINO), and his successor Deb Ryan (Democrat) were 100% humiliated after a Chester County Magisterial District Judge in June dismissed the entire case against the local head of security for Energy Transfer in what the DA’s office lyingly calls a “buy a badge scheme.” Yet, the DA’s office is back harassing/charging the owner and an employee of a private security firm for the same thing.
