A public hearing will be held to discuss the conditional use application for the PA Shell Cracker plant, an important new energy infrastructure project.
Energy Citizens and Energy Nation have organized a public hearing to show support for the conditional use application for the new PA Shell Cracker plant. The PA Shell Cracker plant will use low-cost ethane from the Marcellus and Utica shale to produce polyethylene. Polyethylene is a common plastic primarily used in packaging.
The hearing will be held at the Potter Township Municipal Building on Tuesday, December 13th from 3 – 6 pm.
Join local energy supporters and industry workers in Beaver County December 13th at a public hearing to support a critical new energy infrastructure project.
The Pennsylvania Petrochemicals Complex will:
- Create 600 jobs for Beaver County.
- Support Pennsylvania’s Marcellus Shale gas production.
- Produce building block chemicals used to manufacture thousands of products that American consumers rely on.
The Board of Supervisors of Potter Township is looking for public input on the project. That’s why it’s critical that Energy Citizens attend the upcoming hearing and voice our support for a project that will boost Pennsylvania’s economy and support job growth.
This new complex will draw on Marcellus Shale gas to produce building block chemicals used to manufacture thousands of products that American consumers rely on. Anti-energy activists will be out in force at this hearing, spreading misinformation that this plant will harm water supplies.
The fact is, the facility and its operations will not damage water resources or the environment and will be subject to the strictest state and federal regulations.
We need you at this meeting to help us support this important project for Beaver County and Pennsylvania’s progress.
By registering for this event, you are joining Energy Citizens, a community of 1.3 million Americans who believe in and fight for commonsense energy policies.
Please, show your support for PA Shell Cracker Plant and go the this very important public meeting.
